Each city page lists the best things to do, organised by category (landmarks, museums, food, nature, and more), plus answers to the most common travel questions about getting there, getting around, and when to go.
Our editorial approach
Every guide starts with well-documented, widely recognised attractions and practical information drawn from publicly available travel sources. Drafts are generated with AI assistance, then reviewed by our editorial team to check accuracy, helpfulness, and relevance for independent travellers before publishing.
We write for the independent traveller planning their own trip, not for tour operators. That shapes what makes the cut: an attraction earns a place because it is worth someone's limited time in a city, and each entry carries the practical detail that decides whether you can actually fit it in — roughly how long to allow, whether it needs booking ahead, and where it sits relative to everything else.
How we research and verify
Attraction entries are cross-checked against primary sources before publication. Wherever one exists, we link out to the venue's official website and to its Wikipedia article, so you can confirm opening hours, ticket prices, and current closures at the source rather than taking our word for it — those details change often enough that no guide should be your only reference for them.
Every outbound link on the site is re-crawled automatically on a schedule. Links that have gone dead or been redirected are repaired or removed rather than left to rot, which is the usual failure mode of a large travel site. Attraction locations are geocoded so the map on each city page reflects a real coordinate, not an approximation of the city centre.
How we keep guides current
Each city page carries its own publication and last-reviewed dates — they are stored per city, not stamped site-wide, so the "Updated" date you see is the date that page was genuinely last looked at. Guides are revisited on a rolling cycle, and out of cycle when something material changes: a museum closes for renovation, a transport pass is restructured, a festival moves.
This site is funded by display advertising, which is kept clearly separate from the guides themselves. Nobody can pay to have an attraction listed, ranked higher, or described more favourably. If you spot something wrong or out of date, please tell us — corrections sent by readers are the fastest way anything on this site gets fixed.
