Getting there: Billund Airport (BLL), Denmark's second-busiest airport, is about 3 km from LEGO House and a similar distance from LEGOLAND; in July and August a free Billund City Shuttle links the airport, hotels, LEGOLAND, LEGO House and Lalandia. Billund has no railway station: from Copenhagen or Aarhus take the train to Vejle, then Sydtrafik bus 43 (Bus 43 takes about 29 minutes from Vejle Trafikcenter to Billund Airport; the Billund town stops are closer.).
Around town: Billund is small: LEGO House is in the town centre and LEGOLAND, Lalandia and the airport are grouped on its northern edge, walkable or a few minutes by bus or taxi.
Car: Useful for day trips to Jelling (about 30 minutes), Givskud Zoo, Ribe or Egeskov Castle (about 1.5 hours).
