Three days in Athens is enough to feel the city's rhythm without rushing through it — one great sight each morning, then long afternoons for coffee under the Acropolis, wandering old neighborhood lanes, and watching the light change over the rooftops. Day 1: The Acropolis and the Old Town

From there, wander into Monastiraki, pausing in Monastiraki Square to browse the flea market stalls and antique shops without any real agenda. Break for a long lunch at a taverna in the surrounding streets, then spend the afternoon drifting toward Syntagma Square and the smart shopping streets nearby, saving energy for an evening coffee in a quiet corner of the Plaka.

Day 3: Temples, Museums, and a Slow Farewell
