The named Standard Bank Joy of Jazz festival took place in Johannesburg on 25–26 September 2026. A separate March event, Jazz in the Lights, was held at Johannesburg Zoo on 21 March: International jazz performances, workshops, and cultural celebrations at venues throughout the city.
Design Indaba’s annual conference is held in Cape Town; it should not be listed as a Johannesburg event.
