Getting Around Toulouse

Metro & Tram: Toulouse has two metro lines and one tram line, T1. The T2 airport tram stopped operating in June 2023. Check Tisséo’s current ticket and pass options. Single tickets are cheap (check Tisséo for the current fare).

Buses: Extensive bus network covers the entire city. Tourist information offices provide free maps. VélÔToulouse.

Walking: The city center is compact and very walkable. Most attractions are within 30 minutes on foot. Taxis and Uber available but not necessary for tourists with public transit cards.

Airport Transfer: Blagnac Airport is 7km away. Airport shuttle buses run every 20 minutes (check the current fare), taxis cost more, or rent cars at the airport for regional exploration.

✈️ Airport Transfer

Toulouse-Blagnac Airport (TLS) to city center:

• T2 no longer runs to the airport. The Tisséo airport shuttle serves the city and Matabiau station; the listed journey is about 25 minutes, check the current fare
• The official Tisséo information lists service every 15 minutes, with a 25-minute journey between the city centre/Matabiau and airport.
• Taxi: Roughly 20 minutes to the city center, at a fixed rate to confirm
• Private Transfer: Pre-booked car service to your hotel in about 20 minutes, at a price to confirm when booking
